Join Will for Lake Effect's Color to Black & White Weekend Workshop.  The event will feature a field session to make images that will make great shots to convert to B&W, lectures on processing your RAW images and converting images to black & white, prepping images to make prints, and printing one 13x18 print to take home with you. Lunches on Saturday and Sunday, Dinner on Saturday night and Breakfast on Sunday morning will be optional group activities. Lodging suggestions and information if needed will be sent to registered participants. Lodging is available with 5 minutes of Will Clay's Studio. Dinner and Lodging are NOT included in the price of this event.

Will will cover Digital Capture, Workflow, Raw Capture and Conversion, Conversion from Color to B&W and Lightroom or Photoshop Workflow for printing a 13x18 print. You will photograph, make an image, process the RAW image, prepare the color image, convert the image to Black & White on Saturday. On Sunday, you finish image proessing, prep one images for printing, make an 8x10 test print, finalizes the image and make and take home a finished 13x18 print. The cost of the print IS included in the workshop. You are also welcome to bring a RAW pre-workshop image for converting and printing if that is your wish.

Participants need to have a digital SLR, tripod, and laptop for working with their images for critique. You will also need a copy of Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop software installed on your laptop.  This Weekend Workshop will be held at Will Clay's studio and classrom in Naperville, Illinois and the field session will be at Starved Rock State Park.
