Lake Effect Photographic Adventures Presents: Eagles on the Mississippi River Photo Tour $350 Single Occupancy ~ $300 Double Occupancy Join Hank and Don along the Mississippi River in Southwestern Wisconsin, just three to four hours from Chicago, for photographic opportunities photographing the majestic Bald Eagle as they fish in open water pols below the dams along the Mississippi River. We'll also visit two state parks, Wyalusing at the confluence of the Wisconsin River and the Mississippi, and Nelson Dewey which has many bluffs above the mighty river. We may also visit Stonefield Village State Historic Site if we can get permission to visit the site which is normally closed in the winter. The exact sites will depend on a conditions per a scouting trip a day or two before to insure you get the best photo opportunities. Meals are not included in this event but we usually take breakfast after our sunrise/morning shoot. We usually skip lunch because breakfast is usually later in the morning. We do recommend bringing snacks along for those in between meal times. We'll have dinners after shooting at sunset. Participant's do not have to attend meals with the group but would miss much of the fun and fellowship of a workshop at meal times The workshop will start with a Friday evening sunset shoot for those who make it out in time. Those arriving later in the evening will join with the rest of the group for sunrise on Saturday. We'll photograph at numerous sites in the area all day. Sunday will start with a sunrise shoot. We'll head for breakfast, check out of our lodging, and head for another site. Participant's are free to leave whenever they need to return home and the event will end mid afternoon. The deposit required to reserve a spot is $150.
