Weekend Workshop with Will Clay & Don Carter

Join Will & Don for Lake Effect's Color to Black & White Weekend Workshop.  The event will feature lectures on shooting scenes for conversion to black & white prints, field sessions to make those images and printing one 16x20 print to take home with you. Lunch on Saturday and Sunday is included. Dinner on Saturday night will be a optional group activity. Lodging suggestions and information will be sent to participants. Lodging is available with 5 minutes of Will Clay's Studio. Dinner and Lodging IS NOT included in the price of this event.

Don and Will will cover Digital Capture, Workflow, Raw Capture and Conversion, Conversion from Color to B&W and Lightroom or Photoshop Workflow for printing a 16x20 print. You will photograph, make an image, covert the RAW image and perfect and prepare the color image, then convert the image to Black & White, and make and take home a finished 16x20 print. The cost of the print IS included in the workshop.

Participants need to have a digital SLR, tripod, and laptop for working with their images for critique. You will also need a copy of Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop software installed on your laptop.  This Shoot & Critique weekend workshop will be held at Will Clay's studio and classrom in Ottawa, Illinois and field sessions will be at nearby state parks.

Workshop Cost :  $265

Includes: lunches, lectures, demos, field session and 1 16x20 print.

The group will gather on Saturday evening for dinner. Dinner is optional and dinner or lodging is not included in the cost of the workshop.
