Lake Effect Photographic Adventures Presents: Florida Birds & Everglades Workshop Florida’s bird life is well known to photographers for it’s beauty, diversity, and accessibility. We’ll photograph those birds, alligators, and other animals as well as stunning Gulf sunrise and sunset landscapes for the first week in March of 2009. Join world renown wildlife photographer Stan Osolinski, and with equally well known landscape photographer Willard Clay*, along with Hank Erdmann for this Florida Birds & Everglades National Park PhotoTour and Workshop on Sunday March 1 through Saturday March 7, 2009. * Will Clay will be added with an enrollment of 6 participants or more. The maximum participant number will be 12 with 3 instructor / leaders. This workshop includes the tour, field instruction, critiques, local transportation in Florida from and to the airport and during the tour, and 6 nights lodging. Transportation to and from Florida and meals are not included. The cost of the workshop is $2300 for Double Occupancy and $2700 for Single Occupancy lodging. A $300 deposit is required to reserve your spot on the trip. The payment schedule for the balance is as follows; $500 will be due on September 1st, $500 will be due on November 1st, and the balance will be due on January 15th. What we’ll likely see and photograph: Alligators, Great Blue, Little Blue, Green and Tri-Colored Herons, Snowy, Great and Cattle Egrets, Anhingas, Double Crested Cormorants, Black & Turkey Vultures, White Ibis, Blue Winged Teal, Purple Gallinule, Pied Billed Grebes, Moorhens, Red Shouldered Hawks, Ospreys, Brown Pelicans, Wood Storks and many, many other critters and birds. We’ll photograph in places like Shark Valley, Anhinga Trail, Flamingo, Mrazek Pond, John Pennekamp State Park and many, many roadside pulloffs. |
