Tulips, Wildflowers & Lighthouses, Western Michigan Spring PhotoTour Thursday through Sunday, May 1-4, 2008 Holland, Grand Haven & Grand Rapids, Michigan Ottawa County, Michigan Photographer's Tour with Will Clay, Hank Erdmann, and Fred Drury
We have so many requests for Michigan Phototours that we’re scheduling three of them in 2008. This spring tour will feature a site which rivals Messenger Woods (those of you in the Chicago Region know Messenger as the premiere Wildflowers site in Northern Illinois). That location is a park named Aman Woods near Grand Rapids, and we'll also photograph Tulips in Holland, Michigan and Lighthouses along the Lake Michigan shore in Holland, Grand Rapids and and/or Muskegon. This tour will include three nights lodging (Thursday night through Saturday night), the tour, nightly critiques and information lectures. The cost of this tour is $535 double occupancy, $650 single occupancy. Limit: 12 participants. **Just 2 spots left!
We'll start Thursday meeting for dinner in Holland and then proceed to shoot sunset with "Big Red", holland's famed Lake Michigan shore lighthouse.. We will spend our weekend shooting Tulip gardens and wildflowers and lighthouses in the area. Your guide/instructors will take you daily to the best locations for the local conditions. We will finish up on Sunday afternoon and offer an optional sunset shoot on the lakeshore for those who don't mind arriving home a little later at night.
