Join us in Parke County, Indiana for a Photographer's Tour of the Covered Bridges of Parke County. If you’ve ever been down to Parke County to photograph the popular covered bridges on a fall weekend, you know what a zoo it can be. So the time to go is mid-week which is exactly when we will be there photographing the bridges and fall color. There are 31 covered bridges to choose from and while we won't photograph them all we will see quite a few of them. We will also visit Turkey Run and or Shades State Parks for fall color. We’ll hold this Photographer’s Tour (no instruction, just photo guiding to the best spots) on Thursday & Friday October 23 & 24, which then allows you the choice of adding the weekend to your stay should you want to brave the crowds. Parke County is about 3½- 4 hours south of Chicago. Even though our dates are purposefully after the Covered Bridge Festival Weekend, most lodgings have a three day minimum stay. So for those folks who can come a day early, we offer an extra night and day at a cost of $50.
