Phototour with Hank Erdmann & Fred Drury

Join us for a day of photography at one of Northern Illinois' undiscovered gems. We'll start our day at 8 am at Lyon Woods Forest Preserve in Kendall County. Hepatica, Blue Eyed Marys, and Virginia Bluebells are the star flower attractions here, but there are also many other species of wildflowers as well as Lyon Creek meandering through the preserve.

We will demonstrate using a histogram to make great exposures for those who do not yet use this very powerful tool. We will demonstrate some close up techniques for flowers and also discuss techniques for making spring flower landscapes. Both instructors will assist you with composition and help you make memorable wildflower images. We may also visit Silver Springs State Park on the nearby Fox River.
