Phototour with Stan Kotecki, Will Clay & Hank Erdmann

Join us for a day of photography in Downtown Chicago during it's most festive time of the Year. We'll photograph buildings, museums, monuments, the skyline, State Street, the Art Institute, Holiday decorations, Michigan Avenue, Millenium Park, and much more. Join Stan Kotecki, Will Clay for cityscapes and building detail images as we photograph from our start at Noon until we run out of light arbout a hour or so after sunset (probably about 6 or 6:30). Many of us will likely head for some dinner downtown after the event, but meals are not included in the cost of this event. Hank Erdmann and Will Clay have been photographing the Midwest for over 30 years, Stan Kotecki has been photgraphing the Chicago scene in addition, also for over 30 years. Due to the expected interest in this event we have planned to take a few more participants if the need is there and add a third instructor. We will split the group if we get more than 10 participants and alternate locations up to sunset. At sunset we'll make our way over to the Museum Campus to photograph the skyline at sunset and the buildings with seasonal lights on them. If the sunset is not a spectacular, we may choose instead to photograph other seasonal lighthing at dusk when it is most appealing and there is some ambient light in the sky.
