Join Hank along the I&M Canal, the DesPlaines River and in McKinley Woods Forest Preserve in Will County for a fall colors DayTour. You’ll photograph fall scenes and color along the I&M Canal, the DesPlaines River and in McKinley Woods Forest Preserve. Fall colors, the canal, the river, birds, and reflections will be our targets. Actual locations will depend on local conditions at the time of the event which will be pre-scouted the day before by your guide.

This DayTour includes only the tour. Hank will be photographing along side the group, making images and pointing out places and possible images. Our DayTours are designed for the experienced photographer. We put you in the best photographic locations at the best times to provide the best photo opportunities. We do not include lectures, demonstrations, formal instruction or critiques on these tours. Our Photo Guides are always available to answer questions in the field as they photograph along side participants.

This DayTour starts at 1 pm and will run until the last usable light is gone. We’ll meet in the first parking lot at Will County Forest Preserve District’s Four Rivers Environmental Learning Center in Channahon. We will be doing a bit of walking along the trail, it is level and flat and mostly crushed gravel.

Meals and transportation are not included in the event. The event fee is $50.00. The participant limit for this event is 8.
