I am asked on occasion if I give personalized individual photographic instruction or if I do specialized or personalized workshops for groups. The answer is yes!

Individual Workshops
Field Workshops and Seminars; Photographic subject matter can be of your choice, we can key in on a single subject like composition or exposure or cover as much information as the time frame allows. I will discuss with the individual exactly what is expected from the session prior to any deposits being made or actual instruction taking place until both you and I are satisfied that the subject of study and time needed to cover that subject are agreed on. I ask for a deposit of 50% of the total fee to book any individual session date. You decide on your favorite site for field workshops or classrooms sessions within fifty (50) miles of Shorewood, IL. Longer travel distances to either classrooms or field sites will require an additional travel fee of $1 per mile per event. Lodging or other transportation costs incurred per your event requirements will be added as appropriate.

Individual Rates
Hourly (2 hr. minimum); $50.00 per hour, ½ Day (5 hours) $200.00 Either at sunrise/morning or sunset/afternoon for field events or any time for classroom instruction. Full day - $350 – 7-9 hours for lecture sessions, sunrise to sunset for field sessions (both types of sessions include a hour lunch break, and summer outdoor field sessions will have a longer midday break due to lack of quality of mid-day light and length of daylight).

2 – 3 Person Instruction Rates
Many times friends want to get together to share an “individual” session to keep the costs down but get much more personalized instruction than they’d receive in a group, so I offer the following rates: 2 persons, 75% of above rates per person; 3 persons, 60% of above rates per person . I ask for a deposit of 25% of the total fee per person to book any 2-3 person session date.
